Star Trek Movie review
We just got back and my head is spinning. The cast was superb, the special effects were second to none and as expected, the attention to detail and continuation was a pleasure to behold.
You could tell the trekkies and trekkers in the audience from the subtle noises of appreciation whenever an in-joke popped up. I was surprised to hear a mention about Admiral Archer’s prize beagle from Scottie (Simon Pegg). And the appearance of Leonard Nimoy was a touch that authenticated the new cast.
Did I like it? All I can say is “bloody marvelous”
